I get asked what is with the name "Bear with me"?  Aside from the tongue in cheek meaning for you to be patient with me while I figure things out, the true meaning of the phrase lies more in the origin of the spiritual guide - the Great Bear. It is my belief that the Great Bear guides me on my journey through life and learning. In the same way, I would be honoured to serve as your guide on your therapeutic journey.

I have almost 30 years experience as a social worker in Windsor.  In my clinical practice, my focus is on holistic wellness of the individual, using conventional and alternative therapies best suited to your needs and issues. 

 

I have training in different therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, EMDR, Trauma Informed Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Hypnotherapy, and Somatic Psychotherapy.
